Now that I've plugged that... I'm deathly afraid that sooner or later the Curmudgeon is going to realize the copy of Les Fleurs du Mal that nominally belongs to him isn't exactly in his possession anymore. And that he'll put two and two together. Fantastic edition, French and English of everything, and contributions by several good translators, which matters quite a bit because I'm picky with translators. And Roy Campbell in particular is a wonderful, wonderful man. Not just because he seems to have translated all my favorites, even. And speaking of dead French poets, I need to see Total Eclipse, a movie I'd never heard of till a few days ago. Leonardo DiCaprio is in it, but it's from before he went downhill so I'm daring to hope it's as good as I heard. So yes, there's a Blockbuster binge coming on, even though I'm technically supposed to stay on campus. But I need to get to the bank...ergh. Oh yes, and I have accounts again. Disownment revoked, which is quite nice, though the heart attack I suffered was, of course, not revoked with it. Can't have it all, though, and I'll take money over heart, here in this tangled web we weave. I also feel obliged to let you all know that I have the Scarlet Pimpernel energetially trotting through my head. Lexine recently saw it and I do need to get around to doing the same. But Les Mis comes first, por supuesto, it being limited and all. And it's coming to the neighborhood. Need I say more? If I make it, it'll be my third time. Granted, that's nothing compared to the accomplishments of the great ones, but I'll be more than satisfied. Adieu.
